An interesting Idea, but not quite what I had in mind.  I like Ubuntu as
it is very much, but what I was implying was a meta package to install a
... *ahem* GUI environment suitable to be used on a server install.


(waits for the stream of Server doesn't need GUI, is better because it
needs less resources, etc etc. comment to stream past)


Server administrators who last breathed fresh air in the 70's need not
apply, of course.   But there is no harm in using a wee bit of disk
space to make the rest of us feel comfortable.
