[OT] Why do people detest top posting so much?

I could do that too.  Would I?  Not a chance.  I'm reading a few hundred
emails a day on various support lists.  You get a few seconds to catch my
attention. Apparently some people think that this attitude makes me a
villain.  They're probably the same people who complain a few days later,
because nobody responded to their problem.  I'm just open about why they
don't get a response _from me_.
