I wonder if it could be because I'm not using KDE?  I'm new to Ubuntu, but 
I run into the same problem with Kompozer.  It will let me edit about half 
a page, and then just crash.  Both programs do it.  I've reloaded twice. 
Once with Xubuntu, and then with just ubuntu.  I tried Kubuntu first and 
didn't care for it.
