Bittorrent problems

The Bittorrent protocol ensures that only data which matches it's
checksum is stored to disk. If you've only managed to get 34 meg out of
928 meg saved, then this may be the problem - something is sending you
corrupted data or something is corrupting the data en route.

Which torrent are you using to control the download?

I don't have a Transmission client available to me at the moment but I
believe you can view how much data has been re-requested as it's been
bad by looking at the stats of the transfer. Certainly Azureus can show
you this and I believe Transmission can also - I'll check when I return
home.
