The most likely reason is, that a relatively large number of dreamhost 
accounts is used for sending spam, and for that reason others block all 
email coming from dreamhost accounts. The only one who can do something 
against that is dreamhost.

The only thing you can do to remedie this situation in short order is, to 
go somewhere else with your mailaccount, f.i. gmail.
