Hello,
your best option would be a central web proxy server (squid) with
authentication. Configure your network so that the proxy usage is
mandatory and configure authentication for users (various
possibilities with squid: ntlm, ldap, mysql, ...). You can generate
reports from the squid logs then based on users (bandwidth, sites,
etc.)
Of course this only works if you just want to monitor web usage.

The box said Windows Vista or better. So I bought a Mac.
