Installing TeX Live 2009 on 9.10

I used "Downloading several big tarballs" and downloaded

texlive-20091107-texmf.tar.xz

from ftp://tug.org/historic/systems/texlive/2009

After decompressing, this includes the above mentioned folders.

I will check the net installer for that action.

I guess this has to be done after the procedure of the network installer, because the decompressed

install-tl-20091228

does not include a file named

install-info
