IRC ban for hosting a TOR relay?

I wasn't necessarily implying that Freenode was a part of Ubuntu, so
much as looking for anyone with similar experiences. If they weren't
responding to emails, why would I expect a snail mail to have any
greater effect?

As it stands... I was contacted after a while by one of the admins.
Apparently the 'bots that Freenode employs saw someone connecting to
their network via tor (not tor-gpg), and tracked the connection back to
the exit point... my relay. As a result, my ip got banned, not the
actual perp. Not the best system as far as I'm concerned, as now I need
to figure out how to lock down the exit policies for both irc (not a big
deal) and www (to prevent someone using freenodes web chat via tor) to
satisfy freenode's bots. In the interim... i'm just not running a relay
for now, which is kind of a bummer. But I am able to get on irc again...
