Compiz cube - ONE cube in sight

Thanks for the input, the outer cube (the whole display part of the screen)
flips now.
The inner cube remains a mystery to me and I tried every instruction on this
list.
While trying to make it work I messed something else: when I flip the
desktop the windows are minimized.
I tried and tried to bring them back but they obstinately refuse to obey.
Your help is most appreciated.
