Install "git" http://git-scm.com/ - using synaptic pack manager

Hello,

How do I install "git" on Ubuntu 9.10 using synaptic manager?

 "git" http://git-scm.com/ uses repositories: unfuddle and github

I'm a newbie so please speak slowly :) ...step by step instructions.
