Whatever happened to Sound Juicer?

Just as a side note... I manually set up a profile like this some time
ago in sound juicer to rip my audio as 6-channel flac, so I could listed
to them on my surround sound without doing the "force the sub to be
used, even if the audio doesn't ask for it" trick (though I ended up
enabling it anyway). I didn't notice any quality change when listening
on my mp3 player, and maybe it's just me but it actually seems to sound
a bit better than the ones ripped as 2-channel flac when on my surround
sound... do you think this actually makes any difference, or is it just
my imagination?
