Your attitude and method of posting doesn't help people trying to glean something from the list that may help them to enjoy Ubuntu better. A review of the C of C is in order. Have a great day.
I'm really not sure why there is a problem here - not all relevant comments will necessarily be in reply to a particular comment from someone else. I believe that was the case with my message in question. It was not a reply to any specific email in this thread, yet I believe it was still potentially of interest - another data point is all.
Whom should I have quoted?
Or do you disagree that it was of interest here?
And I'm not really sure which part of the C o C I've violated. Please be more specific. In fact, I believe a number of people on this list need to review the C o C and in particular :
"Be respectful. The Ubuntu community and its members treat one another with respect. Everyone can make a valuable contribution to Ubuntu. We may not always agree, but disagreement is no excuse for poor behaviour and poor manners. We might all experience some frustration now and then, but we cannot allow that frustration to turn into a personal attack"
Both NoOp and I were trying to point out that we had no idea of what you were refering to as there was no reference to anything, except the title<subject>.. The C of C of which I refered was concerning how one replies to a post leaving attributions and quoting what you are replying to and snipping any irrelevant parts. But you snipped everything making it hard to follow any train of thought. If that doesn't explain it then I am incapable of doing it
