ubuntu to ubuntu file sharing

I have a Ubuntu server, and using Samba my Windows PC's have no
trouble viewing the folders in Windows Explorer.

My problem is with other Ubuntu PC's.  They can't view the folders, or
even find the server in Nautilus.  They can only get to the workgroup
icon.

Where can I find documentation on how to configure this?  I'm sure its
readily available but I haven't been able to find it!
