Hi James...
Unetbootin is a great way of putting an operating system onto a flash drive. First download and install unetbootin. Then download remix or whatever you want to put on a flash drive. The instructions are pretty easy to understand. You may need to change your bios settings so your computer will recognixe the flash drive. If you choose to try unetbootin and you have any problems just send me an email. I will be happy to help. The website is http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Funetbootin.sourceforge.net%2F&ei=kSGVSs3wDIqkNfLV8dMP&rct=j&q=unetbootin&usg=AFQjCNFG2iJy14ueI6PKA0HBkn1cP-KoBg I hope this helps.

Charlie

I am trying to download and install ubuntu.  I
tried reading the instructions, and though I was at least on the moderately
computer saavy.  can someone please give me very very basic instructions on
how to download the netbook remix and install it?  I have tried saving it
directly to usb, then restarting my computer, pressing f9, andit says there is
no os.....I understood and checked the hash, andit was ok.  it is just the
how to save to flash.  I am wanting to totally rid myself of my windows xp
system, as it has gotten some bad stuff in it.  I hear ubuntu is the only
way to go.  Thank You in Advance!
