Reconfiguring TBird keys?

Hello,
    Would anyone know of a way to reconfigure the keys that TBird uses?
Specifically how to map the View -> Threads -> Expand all Threads option from
Numpad_* to anything else?  The machine on which I read a lot of email has no
numpad much less a numpad_*.
