Yes, had found them, thanks heaps.

Also found that by using filters (they're quite powerful), I was able to
move the last 3 weeks of messages into the appropriate mail boxes of
the original accounts. Now I have them all together and can delete those 
extra accounts.

Magic!  :-)

Funnily enough, when I reinstalled Ubuntu and T-Bird, I had selected 
some add-ons.  Simple enough, it's nice to look at new things to see if 
they're useful.

Of course a day later when files didn't get imported automatically I 
jumped to conclusions and blamed this TB new release.  It's not new at 
all - it just looks different. It has some Add-ons!!

Further proof of a long held truth in Personal computing "we cause most 
of our own problems".
