connecting to the wireless network shouldn't be a problem. If you want
to test before committing, I'd suggest booting the laptop you want to
load Ubuntu on w/ a liveCD, and just try connecting to your wireless to
see if you have any issues. If you do, you can come back here, present
your info, and resolve them. If you have no issues, then awesome. you
can install w/o worry.

And if by Vonage, you mean VoIP service, then you should be able to,
just fine. Ubuntu comes with a VoIP client installed by default (called
Ekiga Softphone) that should allow you to connect to your Vonage VoIP
service just fine. Again though, I'd suggest booting the liveCD, and
trying this out first, so if you have any issues, you can ask them here
before you get in a situation where you need it/don't have it, etc.
