This, and most, kernel vulnerabilities can only be exploited by local, logged
in users. If all your users are trusted, and you don't run any public
services, you probably have a better chance of being hit by a meteorite than
being "hacked" by this, or almost any other kernel vulnerability that I can
recall. Non-issue for probably 99% of Ubuntu users.
