g++ compiler help

Apart from the / characters your command looks good for your intended purpose,
but your CD may not have those packages.  Do you get any messages from
aptitude?

Do you have an Internet-Cafe or alike nearby?  If yes, visit

  http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/purchase

  I you have a DVD drive you might buy a DVD which has enough room to
hold all those packages.  AFAICT with today's ubiquitious internet access
there are no more CD set sold widely.

Yet your best bet is:  carry your box to a friend with fast internet access
and download whatever you want.
