I tried that (sudo dpkg --configure -a), but the system was too
conterminated to succeed.
What I did however, was to boot up on the image before (13), removed
VirtualBox and then removed image 14 and headers 14. Then rebooting again
and installed the version 14.
Now all seems fine and the gscan2pdf.
I think I have had this problem with the pre-compiled headers for a while,
because I have had problems with a C-application reading properly on the
RS-232 port since last upgrade.
