Problem post upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04 when extra visual effects is enabled

Hi ,

I recently upgraded my Dell XPS laptop to Ubuntu 9.04. I have enabled extra
visual effects , this causes problems with my Netbeans tool.
When I start Netbeans a blank window is shown. If I disable and enable extra
visual effects things work fine(i,e Menu and other windows in Netbeans shows
up). How can I fix this issue. Any help is appreciated. I have attached
system information for your reference.
