It may be an issue with the device(s) you are trying to attach on
boot. From a terminal, run the following and send the results to the
list:
VBoxManage showvminfo <vm name>
where <vm name> is replaced by the name of your WinXP vm that you
created. If you are not sure the exact name of your vm, you can first
run:
VBoxManage list vms
and it should list the name to replace <vm name> with in quotes.
