    I just was told about ssh and if you have a Gnome desktop you can 
mount the other machines on your computer! Then check them out as 
necessary. You put them in the Places part of your computer and give 
each computer a name you can remember.

    You need to load sshd onto each machine and use Gnome on your machine.
