Webmin is a simple, but comprehensive tool. it provides a web based
interface which you can set up on the server (of course at this point only
you will have permissions to use it with the root account and password).
It provides all sorts of stuff from package management to bandwidth
monitoring. I use it mainly for administrating all my servers/virtual
servers like my samba shares, proftp virtual server, and if you add more
(compatible) servers or modules it even features an auto-detect feature that
picks up when youve installed compatible servers which can be monitored and
administered via webmin.
