samba/ifconfig conflict with Network Manager.

Thank you for your reply.
I am afraid you didn't follow the scenario.
The network configuration doesn't happen at boot time. It happens at
login time. That is, regardless of how late I will set the samba (I
already tried S80) it is always too early because the Network Manager
(NM) starts networking only at login.
Typically what I would do is either alter the samba startup script to
run in the background and check every some time if ifconfig was done or
try to hook into NM operation and see if I can make samba start from
there. Guessing that this usability issue effects other people as well,
I am trying to figure out if Ubuntu people have an official concept to
handle this conflict.
