Hi all,
the subject says it all. I recently did a fresh install of jaunty
today and first time i logged in and opened the terminal console, it
was just like a sheet of white paper. I could not see anything that i
typed. I later found some replies about the same issue on ubuntu
forums and the solution was to press alt+f2 to open a dialog box and
enter metacity --replace and then gtk-window-decorator --replace But
it is really annoying that i have to do it on every reboot. I
reinstalled compiz-gnome and metacity to no avail. newbie. help pls...
