8.04 - likewise open vs kerberos, samba, and winbind

     What are the advantages, disadvantages, differences, etc., between 
using Likewise Open to authenticate Ubuntu 8.04 Samba users against 
active directory instead of Kerberos, Samba, and Winbind?

     I briefly tested using Kerberos, Samba, and Winbind on Ubuntu 7.10 
quite some time ago with the instructions at 
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=91510 and it seemed to work 
just fine.  Ubuntu 8.04 comes with Likewise Open to serve the same 
purpose.  What's the difference?
