Yes, but I think only from the desktop startup perspective. I've xubuntu
on another system for testing purposes (low mhz, low memory machine) and
found that in the end I ended up loading quite a few Gnome/Ubuntu
standard applications that I missed onto it, so my version isn't quite
"standard".
