Samba and XP machines

I had that problem until I tweaked my config file to look something like 
this:

[Virtualbox Storage]
comment = Virtualbox Images
path = /media/alaric/hadrian
public = yes
writable = yes
create mask = 0777
directory mask = 0777
force user = wili
force group = wili

If you set your share options to something similar, can it be accessed?
