Samba and XP machines

I've setup Samba and my XP machine can see the Ubuntu machine in Network
Neighbourhood but I cannot access it.  I get the following error:

xxx server (Samba, Ubuntu) is not accessible. You might not have permission
to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to
find out if you have access permissions. The Parameter is incorrect.

Any ideas?
