cant ping external website

Please don't top post.  No wonder I couldn't keep up with this thread. 
AS I just posted I think this has to do with the broadcast mask you 
setup on the 10.x.x.x network.  unless that's a type that broadcast IP 
would just die on a 10.x.x.x network.
