Okay, let's go back over what needs to be tested. I'll try to get them
in order and lets see where you are with this, okay?
1. Ping the gateway?
2. Ping the DNS server.
(I just tested that NS and it doesn't do recursion, so that's possibly
your problem.)
3. Ping outside IP address. (I almost always use 4.2.2.2 for that,
it's a NS, but it works)
What are the results of those tests. Just so we can keep up with things.
It's possible, but not likely it's something silly like a duplex
mismatch between your NIC and the switch/router it's connected to as
well. I've seen that a lot.
