Thanks after a frustrating afternoon. I give up. If it requires device
specific instructions like duplex or envelope feeder it will have to
stay PCL form. I think it is the post script driver for the 4250. When
you try and install the postscript driver on windows using the
installation cd it warns you that you will lose some functions of your
printer! I guess it does say that it has postscript emulation, not that
it is a postscript printer. I also tried some different drivers and a
mac ppd file I found on the web. I found that you could set up the
printer so it always duplexed or so it never duplexes but you can not
get it to take the -o sides= command.
