I don't use KDE, but isn't that an icon file? If you are trying to run
screenlets, you need the executable file, not the icon file. Try typing
in a terminal "which screenlets" without the quotes and see if anything
comes up. That should give the executable file. If it doesn't give any,
it's not in the path or not installed.
