8.04 still locks up

    yum remove alsa-plugins-pulseaudio pulseaudio was what I used in Red 
Hat to remove pulse audio. In Ubuntu it would use apt-get remove I think 
the same stuff. But I have never removed pulse audio in Ubuntu.

    I think that you should do and see if Hardy stops locking up. I hope 
others can help with other ideas of changes between Gutsy and Hardy.
