Cange the hard disk partition in ubuntu 8.4

First make backups of everything of any value from both your Vista and 
Ubuntu partitions. If you play with your partitions you never know what 
desaster will happen.

I suppose your Vista partition is now bigger than 20 GB. Then I think the 
best way would be to use the Vista partitioning program to reduce the 
Vista partition. Then boot with a Ubuntu Live CD. From the CD use the 
Ubuntu partitioning program gparted to increase the Ubuntu partition 
size.

BTW: Next time please start a new thread instead of hijacking an existing 
thread, i.e. don't reply to a message but start a new one. That way more
