Checking System | Administration | Printer on the Ubuntu side I find the
following,
which is consistent with my memory of what I set up...

Device URI : smb://192.168.1.101/HPOffice
Make & Model : HP OfficeJet 5600 Foomatic/hpijs, hpijs 2.8.2

And the following - which probably have less relevance...
Allow Printing for everyone
Media size A4
Printout mode : Normal (Colour Cartridge)
Resolution, Ink type etc : Controlled by printout mode

On the Windows side, it is a straghtforward SMB printer share.

When I ask it to send a test page to the printer, the printer prepares
to print, but then
stops. It appears as though the printer is receiving commands it cannot
process or is
waiting for something thatÅ› not arriving.
