No Terminals in Hardy Heron

Does the gui work? The y1~6 that you see is the right most piece of the 
login screen. If you were to type a username/password you would likely 
be able to login. You just couldn't see most of what you type. It sounds 
like the screen is left shifted. I doubt it will help but if your 
monitor has an auto center button then try that. If not try shifting the 
monitor picture right and see if you can fix it that way.
