    There was an extension trying to get the FF2.x behavior back prior to the
RC releases of FF3.0.  The problem is that the behavior is not something that
is easily reverted in XUL.  The best people could achieve is kinda-sorta
looking like FF2.x's bar and kinda-sorta acting mostly like it.  I think the
fact that there were dozens of topics on the Mozillasine forums as well as
several bugs filed agains the AB and that addon all prior to RCs shows it
isn't just a small percentage.  A small VOCAL percentage, maybe.  ;)
