Linux printing on a windows network, where to start

Have you tried asking the mfr if they would support a linux driver for
that model?  Many other printers on their website are supported.  Thats
the only way they will get the hint to start supporting linux drivers!
Get someone from your IT dept to send them an email or better yet talk
to your supplier and have THEM do it.
