Intrepid Blues

    I now have my new Intrepid rc loaded and I took the lines from it's 
grub to start Intrepid and added them to my Hardy grub file. Had to 
delete the long uu-whatever and replace it with root (hd0,6). It works fine.

    Had to drop back to init 2 since I have no X-Windows and there I 
installed joe and changed /etc/X11/xorg.conf to nv and rebooted. it now 
comes up with that nVidia half-ass image that is off center and 800x400. 
But this is a whole lot better than no X-Windows.

    My nVidia devise is a GeForce 6100 which not very old, but not the 
latest either. I tried to use Sympatic to find a driver for this but it 
was not available on the servers I have set up.

    Does anyone know if the Intrepid servers have any nVidia software? 
Where do you look? I seem to have a nVidia control panel but it doesn't 
seem to do anything. What do you need to do with that?
