BTW: I have emailed Brother and asked about the '--force-overwrite
--force-architecture' instructions. Hopefully they will come back with a
reasonable answer as to when the drivers will be fixed so that these
instructions are no longer necessary. I've an interest in this in that
I'm going to visit my son/grandkids for Halloween this weekend & will be
updating their system from Gutsy to Hardy... meaning that I may end up
reinstalling their Brother printer. When Brother do reply I'll open a
new thread as there are other's on the list with these printers who may
find the info helpful.
