If you don't get it figured out I'll be happy to give it a go. I've 3
systems with dualboot XPPro all using IPP to a Ubuntu (Hardy) Canon
MP750 (USB) print server (it's an old laptop running Ubuntu) and the
same to another MP750 connected directly (USB) to this machine. Two of
the machines also have Win2KPro via VirtualBox that also print to the same.

I've 4 flavors of OOo: Ubuntu (U)2.4.1, OOo 2.4.1, OOo 2.4.2(RC1), OOo
3.0. The standard OOo's are installed on both Windows and Ubuntu. I can
easily pull an older version out of the archives if necessary. All
machines (Ubuntu and Windows) are using IPP w/fixed IP's, But I have two
more (laptops) that are using DHCP as well (one via a wireless router).

I've another machine, a simple test server, that I'll be putting
Intrepid back on later today, so I'll be able to test the same on that
as well if you'd like. Anyway, let me know and I'll be happy to try in
my environment.

Gary
