Printing question - Cups ipp printer from Windows XP

If the issue is with Times New Roman - it *might* be that the version
of Times New Roman in the printer itself doesn't support those
characters, but it works with PDF because the PDF is embedding the
required font.  On the other hand, you said it used to work with the
same equipment so that is likely out.

I think I'd try setting up a 'raw queue' on the Ubuntu machine, then
install the normal Windows drivers on the Windows machine and use the
address of the raw queue to print to.
