I couldn't report a bug using reportbug.  (I hope Thunderbird works.)
Received this error instead:

... usually when I see that, it tells me that the SMTP server doesn't 
think @lists.ubuntu.com is a local mail domain, which is really weird 
when both the SMTP server and the email address have the same 2nd-level 
domain name.
