Intrepid, EeePc 1000, how to disable tapping on touchpad?

Why?  I'm about to turn mine back on, as it turns out the overly excitable
rodent is not actually related to tapping at all.  Tapping is useful - if
nobody wanted it, we wouldn't have tappable touchpads.
