Thinking back to my high school (8ish) years ago, We had computer labs 
and teachers had one machine in their rooms. Assuming that you setup is 
similar. I would suspect that you could have a few modern machines as 
servers for a lab of 30ish cheap clients. The teachers machines could 
also be cheap clients and you would have one or more servers to power 
their machines. If you have people who need the same files between 
multiple schools that would require a little more complexity but is doable.
