Intrepid, EeePc 1000, how to disable tapping on touchpad?

Hi guys,

So Intrepid is happily running on Eeepc 1000h, however, I'd like to
disable the #$%@ tapping of the touchpad, not only when typing but for
good.

I looked on xorg.conf but I found no line regarding Synpatics or
mouse. I executed the good old dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg command
but this would only take care of keyboard, not even asked about
resolution nor mouse.

Any ideas?
