You know, there doesn't seem to be a w32codecs available - at least
not on Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit.
I thought I had installed both. I do have w64codecs. The affected
codec (dshow apparently, something that seems to be available in
windows media player) is simply not available in Hardy, not that I can
see. And mplayer says that it should be enabled at compilation.
Trouble is, I have the medibuntu repository set for mplayer and the
codecs - exactly for stuff that can't be in the main trunk on ubuntu.
But still, this codec is missing, or simply not available.
Seems to me if a site can't play nice and offer its content in
something that is accessible for non-Windows machines then its content
should be ignored.
