VirtualBox Host problem (OK, WORKS)

analyzing the logs, it appears that the router blocks ping because it
runs out of memory of the half-open connections ... I think that in my
sister pc there is a worm that generate a little too much traffic :-/
anyway, now, all works. I have increased the number of connections
handled by the router.
